I have also seen teachers use eyehooks in a similar way. You could attach two eyehooks to the wall and affix a thin chain between the two. This method could also be used to display just one picture if you hang the chain vertically from the eyehooks and use a clip at the end of the chain to attach the picture to.

I love them – but they aren’t offered on-line – you have to find an IKEA… I had to drive two hours for mine! Is there another way to craft something similar from the hardware store?
